Who said you have to live with ugly windows?
Jazz them up with this quick and easy fix.
Add a curtain rod (either screw in wall or use the famous 3M tape to attach to concrete wall), then hang colorful and fun cloth napkins or place mats. In this picture I have used place mats for the creative design.
Leave the blinds the school has provided in the window and lower for privacy.
Be sure the cloth napkins or place mats hang long enough to cover the existing blind and hardware (when open). For additional style and design I hang fabric which just covers the edge of the window and hangs over the wall which makes the window appear wider (even though it is not).
Fabric is attached with hanging curtain clips.
